Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Leave of Absence Senior Specialist to support the Talent Operations Team in delivering centralized LOA solutions that balance employee needs with business goals. You will manage day-to-day LOA administration, collaborate with employees, HR Business Partners, and a third-party administrator, and handle complex issues with discretion.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience administering LOA programs.
• Minimum of 3 years experience using an HRIS.
• Working knowledge and understanding of HIPAA, FMLA and other applicable legislation.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage LOA administration with a focus on accuracy and timely processing.
• Respond to LOA inquiries from employees, managers and HR.
• Coordinate with third-party administrator to track approvals and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with return-to-work processes for employees returning from leave.
• Act as SME for LOA policies and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Ensure LOA actions are accurately processed across systems and with the third-party administrator.
• Communicate timelines and required documentation to employees and HRBP.
