Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a field engineer to provide project field engineering specialization on LNG plant projects within the US Gulf Coast region. You will handle work planning, material management, quantity verification, safety and quality control, and subcontract coordination.

Mobility to other Bechtel Global Business Units may be required in the future. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of relevant experience or 9–12 years total, with LNG process systems experience and familiarity with ASME/API

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience overseeing installation and inspection of rotating and static equipment.
• Experience LNG process systems; familiarity with ASME/API standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares construction drawings and packaging plans.
• Manages field material requisitions and takeoffs.
• Verifies quantities in tracking systems and databases.
• Ensures safety and quality control compliance on site.
• Reviews inspection test plans and coordinates subcontractor submittals.
