Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation is seeking a skilled Field Engineer to support LNG facility projects on the US Gulf Coast. You will manage field engineering activities, document control, and installation planning while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 2–9 years of relevant experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with Bechtel tools and industry standards. Mobility to multiple locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.
• Direct Hire Experience, preferable in a lump-sum environment.
• Experience in the design and/or construction of LNG facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PFE in establishing, implementing and maintaining field engineering programs.
• Maintain project document control and ensure work activities use latest documents.
• Develop detailed, integrated installation plans for complex cross-discipline installations.
• Ensure work package generation supports the construction schedule.
• Prioritize work for multi-discipline field engineers and provide day-to-day direction.
• Assist with Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's) development and implementation.
• Perform quality control inspections and generate corresponding documentation.
• Ensure understanding and adherence to project quality requirements.
