Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a senior field engineer to lead field engineering activities on LNG, energy, and infrastructure projects in the US Gulf Coast region. You will oversee work planning, material management, quantity validation, and system turnover with a focus on safety and quality.

Mobility across locations may be required as projects evolve, and you will lead multi-discipline teams to deliver critical EPC work.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience overseeing installation and inspection of rotary and static equipment; commissioning experience.
• Experience in leading teams and managing work packages; knowledge of ASME/API standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team and provide field engineering leadership for work planning and packaging.
• Oversee material management, quantity validation, safety and quality control.
• Coordinate system turnover and subcontracts to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Direct inspection plans, reviews of subcontractor submittals, and coordination with startup.
