Job summary

Bechtel seeks a field engineer to support LNG plant projects on the US Gulf Coast, with mobility to other units as needed. You will manage material, verify quantities, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate turnovers. Responsibilities include document control, plan development, and ITP execution.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 2–5 years of relevant experience, plus Bechtel process familiarity and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) with 2–5 years of relevant experience or 6–9 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in LNG facility design or construction preferred.
• Computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Familiarity with Bechtel processes and BSAP tools is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist PFE in establishing and maintaining field programs.
• Maintain project document control with latest documents.
• Develop detailed installation plans for cross-discipline work.
• Ensure field packages support the construction schedule.
• Direct multi-discipline field engineers on daily tasks.
• Develop and update construction progress reports and forecasts.
• Prepare and update ITPs and conduct quality inspections.
• Coordinate system turnovers and support design-construction resolution.
