Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living at Rye is seeking compassionate PCAs to join the team and provide warm, home-like care to residents. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, documenting care, and supporting residents with meaningful activities.

Shift options include Days 6a-2p, Evenings 2p-10p, and Nights 10p-6a, with a pay range of $20-$21.25 per hour. Training and a welcoming team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license preferred; PCA training available.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Documenting care provided and reporting changes in health or behavior to staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional care.
• Other duties as needed.

Your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

LNA/PCA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license preferred; PCA training available
