Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead kitchen operations at our rural summer camp facilities across the US. This on-site, live-in role requires overseeing all prep and production for the day parts, managing staff, and ensuring allergen safety.

The position is seasonal (May–Sept), full-time, exempt, with competitive pay, a performance bonus, and full room & board for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, cooking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsabilités

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day part; ensure quality and portion control.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory management and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen staff, campers, and camp leadership.
