Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for an on-site, live-in role at seasonal summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety.

This fast-paced, high-volume environment offers competitive seasonal pay, a performance bonus, and full room and board for the contract. Strong leadership and sanitation standards are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role, with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, cooking, able to navigate I-Pad, versatile with ingredients, and sharp problem solving.
• Stand for long periods, work in hot/cold kitchen settings, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Live on-site in rustic setting; demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day part; ensure timely meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Administer inventory and assists with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
