Wolfoods seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp kitchens across the US. This on-site, live-in position covers a demanding 6‑day/70‑hour week, overseeing prep, production, allergen safety, and staff.

You will manage operations, ensure scratch cooking and portion control, uphold sanitation, and collaborate with camp leadership. Competitive pay, a bonus, and full room and board are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a kitchen leadership role with scratch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Ability to stand long hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a hot/cold kitchen.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic setting and work 6 days / 70 hours per week.

Responsabilités

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee prep, production, portion control, and scratch cooking.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Control inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
