Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will supervise daily culinary operations, manage staff, budgeting, and ensure strict allergen safety.

This on-site, live-in position requires a high-volume, fast-paced environment and a minimum 6-day/70-hour week, with competitive pay, a bonus structure, and full room and board for the contract.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role.
• Scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• Allergen safety and dietary restrictions experience.
• Ability to work 6 days / 70 hours per week in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities

• Operations & Leadership: Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Culinary & Quality Excellence: Manage flow, portions, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely service.
• Allergen & Safety Compliance: Enforce allergen protocols and sanitation standards.
• Administration & Budget: Oversee inventory, orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Client Relations: Coordinate with campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.
