Job summary

MMS Group is seeking a live-in Maintenance Superintendent for a 120-unit residential property in Ashtabula, OH. The role covers interior/exterior maintenance, inspections, and preventive programs to ensure safe, well-maintained communities.

You will manage repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry and appliances, while coordinating with the office for inspections, turnover work, and contractor services. A valid driver’s license and 5+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of residential multifamily property management and maintenance.
• Experience with interior and exterior inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to manage work orders, safety standards, and supplier contracts.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily work orders efficiently.
• Communicate delays to supervisor and office.
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, appliances and carpentry issues.
• Assist in scheduling annual apartment inspections and move-ins/outs.
• Coordinate turnover repairs with office team to stay on schedule.
• Maintain records for preventative maintenance and contracts.
