Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camps. This on-site, live-in position oversees prep, production for designated day parts, staff management, and allergen safety.

You’ll manage inventory, budgets, and daily reporting while ensuring top-notch meal service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. A 6-day, 70-hour week is demanding but rewarding.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Willing to live on-site in rustic settings and work a demanding 6‑day/70‑hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day part and meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
