Wolfoods is hiring an Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our on-site summer camp facilities. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety with strict sanitation standards.

This is a live-in, on-site position in a fast-paced, high-volume camp kitchen that requires a minimum 6-day/70-hour week and a strong ability to work under pressure. Competitive seasonal pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, cooking, able to navigate iPad, versatile with ingredients, and sharp problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Operations & Leadership: Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Culinary & Quality Excellence: Manage flow, portions, menu specs, scratch cooking, timely meal service.
• Allergen & Safety Compliance: Enforce allergy protocols and sanitation standards.
• Administration & Budget: Oversee inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Client Relations: Liaise between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
