Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a fast-paced summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and maintain strict allergen safety protocols.

This on-site, live-in position runs during a busy seasonal window, May through September, with a six-day, 70-hour work week. Wolfoods provides room & board, competitive pay, travel support, and a performance bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch/cational cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor kitchen staff to maintain a high-energy, efficient environment.
• Oversee prep, production, menu specs, and scratch cooking for designated day parts.
• Strictly manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory, daily reporting, and budget adherence.
• Serve as the liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
