Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our seasonal summer camp operations. You will oversee daily culinary activities, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The on-site, live-in position requires a minimum 6-day/70-hour week, flexibility to travel to rural camp facilities, and commitment to food safety and quality across all menus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certification required; Allergens knowledge preferred.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee culinary operations, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and health department sanitation standards.
• Handle inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, leadership, and Wolfoods office.
