Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead daily operations at a rural on-site summer camp. This hands-on role oversees culinary, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety for a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

The position is seasonal, May–Sept, with on-site housing and a competitive weekly pay plus bonus. You will live where you work and coordinate with campers and Wolfoods leadership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified; Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and high computer literacy.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding minimum 6-day/70-hour week.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee culinary flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and Health Department sanitation standards.
• Control inventory, place food orders, track daily reporting and budgets.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
