Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Director to lead daily culinary and service operations at a fast-paced summer camp. This on-site, live-in role requires managing staff, budgeting, and allergen safety across facilities.

The position runs May–September as a seasonal contract, with boots-on-the-ground leadership of FOH and kitchen teams, ensuring high standards of service and safety in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager certification required (company-sponsored).
• ServSafe Allergens required before start date.
• Strong leadership, budgeting capability, and high computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train FOH and kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee culinary operations, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Manage allergen protocols and health department sanitation standards.
• Administer inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate.
