Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Food Service Operations Director to lead all daily culinary and service operations at a fast-paced, on-site summer camp. This hands-on leadership role covers staff management, budgeting, and strict allergen safety to ensure top-tier dining in a high-volume setting.

Role requires living on-site, adapting to a rustic environment, and thriving under a demanding 6-day/70-hour week. This seasonal contract runs May–Sept with competitive pay, bonus, and travel allowance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified; Allergens required before start date (company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, high computer literacy, budgeting capability, and sharp problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train FOH and kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking execution.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and Health Department sanitation standards.
• Administer inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and Wolfoods corporate office.
