Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Food Service Operations Director to lead daytime culinary and service operations at a rural summer camp network. This on-site, live-in role supervises all staff, budgets, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The position runs from May through September, with a six-day, 70-hour work week and on-site housing. You will drive menu specs, scratch cooking, and ensure safety standards across all camp locations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification required before start date (company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, budgeting capability, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train FOH and kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee culinary operations, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking execution.
• Manage allergy protocols and health department sanitation standards.
• Oversee inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.
