Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production for a day part, manage staff, and enforce allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

This on-site, live-in position requires a minimum 6-day/70-hour week and offers competitive seasonal pay plus a bonus, with full room & board and travel allowance provided.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kitchen in institutional/batch cooking.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Ability to work 6 days/70 hours weekly in a rustic camp setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee prep/production for designated day part and scheduling.
• Ensure allergen safety and health standards compliance.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
