Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a high-volume summer camp. You will oversee daily culinary operations, supervise staff, manage budgets, and enforce allergen safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

This on-site, live-in position requires a minimum 6-day, 70-hour week, ability to stand long hours, and a commitment to scratch cooking and quality. Competitive seasonal pay plus bonus, plus full room and board are provided.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certified; Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Operations & Leadership: Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Culinary & Quality Excellence: Manage flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, timely meal service.
• Allergen & Safety Compliance: Enforce allergen protocols and sanitation standards.
• Administration & Budget: Oversee inventory, food orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Client Relations: Liaise between kitchen, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.
