Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking a Kitchen Manager for a live-in, on-site leadership role at our rural summer camp network. You will oversee daily culinary operations, staff scheduling, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

This seasonal contract runs May through September, requiring a minimum 6-day, 70-hour week and willingness to live on-site. The role offers competitive pay, bonus potential, room and board, and travel allowance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certified; Allergens knowledge.
• Strong leadership, budgeting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand long hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; maintain a high-energy environment.
• Oversee scratch cooking, portion control, menu specs and timely service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Administer inventory, orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
