Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead a hands-on team at our rural summer camp facilities. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety protocols in a fast-paced kitchen.

This on-site, live-in position requires flexibility to work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week with seasonal compensation including room and board and a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date, company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff to maintain a high-energy, safe work environment.
• Oversee all prep, production, and portion control for designated day parts with scratch cooking.
• Strictly manage allergen safety protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.) and ensure sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting and budget considerations.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
