Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural summer camp. This on-site, live-in position runs May through September, with a fast-paced, high-volume environment and a focus on allergen safety and quality.

You will lead kitchen staff, manage inventory and budgets, ensure scratch cooking, and serve as the main liaison between campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification required (Allergens required before start date).
• Strong leadership, budgeting, problem-solving, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee culinary flow: scratch cooking, portion control, menu specs, timely service.
• Manage inventory, food orders, and budget tracking.
• Enforce allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Act as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods.
