Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead on-site, hands-on operations at our rural summer camp facilities. You will supervise all prep and production for the day part, manage staff, and ensure strict allergen safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

The role is a seasonal contract (May–Sept) with full-time hours, offering competitive pay, a performance bonus, and full room & board for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role.
• Scratch cooking and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff to maintain a high-energy work environment.
• Oversee all prep and production for designated day part and ensure timely meal service.
• Strictly manage allergen safety protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.).
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting and budgeting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
