Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rustic summer camps.

You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and enforce allergen safety protocols in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. This on-site, live-in position offers competitive seasonal pay, a bonus structure, and full room and board for the contract May through Sept.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in kitchen leadership with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, cooking, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operations & Leadership: Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Culinary & Quality Excellence: Manage flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, timely service.
• Allergen & Safety Compliance: Enforce allergy protocols and sanitation standards.
• Administration & Budget: Manage inventory and daily reporting.
• Client Relations: Liaise between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
