Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is hiring a Kitchen Manager for an on-site, live-in role at rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will oversee daily culinary operations, manage staff, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

The position is a seasonal contract (May–Sept) with full-time, exempt status, requiring a minimum of 6 days/70 hours per week. Competitive pay, bonus potential, and full room & board are provided.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified; Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in hot/cold kitchen settings.
• Willingness to live on-site in rustic setting and work a demanding minimum 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen staff, schedule, train, and supervise in a high-volume camp setting.
• Oversee budgeting, inventory, and daily reporting.
• Ensure allergen safety and health code compliance.
• Coordinate with camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
• Direct menu specs and scratch cooking execution.
