Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural, on-site summer camp operation. You will oversee daily culinary activities, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a high-volume environment.

This is a live-in, seasonal contract (May–Sept) with a 6-day work week, competitive pay, a bonus, and full room and board. Travel allowances are also provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certification (Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, high computer literacy, budgeting capability, and sharp problem-solving abilities.
• Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and live on-site in a rustic setting.
• Willing to work a minimum 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking execution, and timely meal service.
• Strict allergen safety protocols and Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place food orders, control budgets, and track daily reporting.
• Serve as the liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.
