Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural summer camp. You will oversee daily culinary operations, staff scheduling, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

This on-site, live-in position requires 6-day/70-hour weeks, seasonal May through Sept, with competitive pay, bonuses, and full room and board. You will collaborate with camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office to deliver safe, high-quality meals.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Operations & Leadership: Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Culinary & Quality Excellence: Manage operational flow, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking.
• Allergen & Safety Compliance: Strictly manage allergy protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan) and sanitation standards.
• Administration & Budget: Manage inventory, place orders, track budgets and daily reporting.
• Client Relations: Liaise between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
