Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a seasonal, on-site role at rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will lead daily culinary operations, supervise staff, manage budgets, and oversee allergen safety in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a hands-on leader ready to live on-site, with a minimum 6-day/70-hour week and a commitment to high-volume service and scratch cooking.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking.
• ServSafe Manager certification with allergens knowledge required before start.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee all culinary operations, portions, menu specs and service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Control inventories, place orders, and track daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods.
