Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camps. This on-site position oversees all prep and production for the day parts, manages staff, and enforces allergen safety protocols.

The role requires 6-day weeks, up to 70 hours, and living on-site. Competitive seasonal pay, bonus opportunities, and full room and board are provided to support a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.

Formación

• Experience: 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking.
• Certifications: ServSafe Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Skills: Strong leadership, cooking, able to navigate I-Pad, versatile with ingredients, and sharp problem-solving abilities.
• Physical Requirements: Stand for extended periods, work in hot/cold kitchen settings, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Lifestyle: Ready to live on-site in a rustic setting, work a demanding minimum 6-day/70-hour week, and thrive under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Manage prep, production for designated day parts, and menu specs.
• Enforce allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Oversee inventory, budget and daily reporting.
• Act as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
