Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our on-site summer camps. You will oversee all prep and production for a designated day part, supervise staff, and manage allergen safety to uphold top Health Department standards.

This is a live-in, seasonal position (May–Sept) with a demanding 6-day/70-hour week, competitive pay plus a performance bonus, full room and board, and travel allowances. You must be ready to thrive in a rustic camp setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, cooking, allergy awareness, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff, maintaining a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day part, ensure quality.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and health department sanitation standards.
• Control inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
