Job summary

Hard Rock Tejon is seeking a Promotions Representative to support the Special Events & Promotions team at on-site and occasional off-site Hard Rock sponsored events. The role offers hands-on event setup, guest check-in, gifts distribution and active customer service on a fast-paced casino/floor environment.

The ideal candidate brings a year of guest service experience in hospitality or retail, a sharp eye for detail, and excellent communication skills; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• At least 1 year guest service experience in hospitality, fast food or retail
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal formats. Spanish preferred
• Work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with working on a computer.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to read and understand all Tejon Tribe policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day to day departmental operations when needed.
• Work all aspects needed at events, assist with customer check in, hand out gifts, assist in set up and unpacking of gifts, assist with customer service at events.
• At times, may be required to work off site at Hard Rock sponsored events. (Examples may be Kern County Fair, Bakersfield Condors Sponsor Game, etc)
• Communicate with various internal operating departments.
• Promote positive public/team member relations at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
