Job summary

Creative Technology Group in Nashville is seeking a CREW COORDINATOR to oversee logistics and labor scheduling for events. You will liaison with project and account executives to staff crews with qualified personnel, contact freelancers and CT Technicians, and maintain up-to-date crewing calendars and show sheets.

The role requires an associates degree or higher and 3–5 years in a deadline-driven office setting, preferably in film/TV production.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher; combination of education and experience considered.
• 3-5 years in a deadline-driven office setting; film/TV production a plus.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and organize multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability for night/weekend contact during peak times.
• Demonstrated skills in communication and interacting with a wide range of individuals.
• In-depth knowledge of computers (Mac and PC) and software packages.
• Knowledge of broadcast/live events gear is a plus.
• Established industry contacts/database of skilled workers in Video/Audio/Events is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with project/account executives to ensure events are staffed with qualified personnel.
• Contacts freelancers, temporary employees, and CT Technicians to schedule labor.
• Contacts unions when necessary and negotiates rates.
• Maintains crewing calendar with up-to-date changes and distributes it.
• Generates show sheets and call sheets for projects under direction.
• Coordinate after-hours and weekend changes and emergencies with crew.
• Determine IC vs W2 status based on position and documentation; ensure compliance.
• Audits invoices and timesheets for accuracy and issues Purchase Orders when needed.
• Other crewing duties as assigned.
