Job summary

Coury Hospitality seeks an Audio Visual Technician to set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot AV equipment for meetings, conferences, weddings, banquets, and special events across the property.

Collaborating with F+B, Events, Banquets, Engineering, and Operations teams, you will ensure all AV gear is prepared and delivered to meet guest and client needs with precision and hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in audio visual production, live sound, event production, hotel AV, or related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and presentation equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot common AV and technical issues.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move AV equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and dismantle AV equipment for meetings, conferences, weddings, banquets, and events.
• Prepare microphones, speakers, mixers, projectors, screens, TVs, lighting equipment and other AV systems.
• Connect and test equipment before events to ensure proper operation.
• Review event requirements and ensure AV needs align with orders and client specs.
• Assist with room setups, stages, and presentation needs.
• Operate AV equipment during live events including sound, presentations, and lighting.
• Provide technical support before, during, and after events.
• Troubleshoot audio, video, lighting, and presentation equipment.
