Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic small-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting. You will ensure events run smoothly and guest satisfaction is achieved on-site.

Responsibilities include on-site setup, operation and breakdown of equipment, and maintaining strong client relationships. You will troubleshoot issues, handle scheduling and invoicing, and work with hotel staff to support successful events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred or training with certifications within 60 days.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Strives to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
• Understands and troubleshoots basic equipment and software issues.
• Completes system entry and paperwork accurately; uses equipment sheets for scheduling.
• Collaborates with clients and vendors to ensure events run smoothly and invoices are finalized.
