Job summary

Ontario Sports Empire is seeking a Technology Technician to lead on-site venue operations and live event technology. You will support venue systems and serve as the primary resource during events.

In this full-time, on-site role in Ontario, CA, you will manage AV, network, WiFi, scheduling, ticketing, POS, and guest access, coordinate with partners and vendors, and document issues for scalable, long-term support.

Qualifications

• 2 years of help desk or IT support experience preferred.
• Experience with live event technology and venue operations.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of AV, WiFi, and network systems.
• Ability to coordinate vendors and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site technology lead during events and support venue staff, partners, vendors, and broadcast crews.
• Support venue systems: AV, network, WiFi, computers, scheduling, ticketing, POS, and guest access.
• Access venue systems and coordinate rapid issue resolution.
• Escalate to vendors or internal support resources as needed.
• Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to keep event-critical systems operational.
• Document issues and improve long-term supportability across venues.
• Ensure event technology is ready before doors open and remains operational.
• Develop scalable and consistent technology support across venues.
• All other duties as assigned.
