Job summary

AEG's Crypto.com Arena team is seeking an on-site Event Support Technician to handle setup, tear-down and troubleshooting of IT and telecom needs during events at Crypto.com Arena, Peacock Theater, and LA Live Campus.

You'll set up equipment, test connectivity, manage phones, document changes, and coordinate with the Network Team to activate ports and VLANs. Strong customer service and CCNA or equivalent certification are valued.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
• Experience supporting TCP/IP networks and network infrastructure.
• CCNA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, tear down, and troubleshoot event IT and telecom systems.
• Install and test wired and Wi-Fi network connectivity.
• Manage event phones and recover equipment post-event.
• Verify dial tone and document connections per setup.
• Create field CAT5e cables and manage VLAN ports with network team.
• Maintain records of wall jacks and switch ports.
