Job summary

AEG’s Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles seeks a Broadcast Technician II to support live events by troubleshooting and maintaining complex broadcast, signage and video systems. The role covers equipment repair, system monitoring and software/firmware updates for smooth productions.

Qualified candidates have high school diploma, 2–4 years of related experience, soldering skills, and the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of related work experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills for relationship building.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet broadcast deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of broadcast, presentation, and digital signage systems.
• Basic electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Good soldering skills for PCB work.
• General knowledge of Windows and Macintosh OS.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain complex electronic equipment related to broadcast, presentation, and digital signage systems.
• Repair or replace defective components and maintain operation of all equipment.
• Monitor status of equipment on the LA Live Campus.
• Install software and firmware updates as directed by the manufacturer.
• Follow scheduled maintenance procedures per manufacturer guidelines.
• General cleaning and upkeep of equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of arena’s scoreboard and clock systems.
• Operate and repair broadcasting systems for events.
• Assist broadcast team with other duties as needed.
