Job summary

AEG is seeking an on-site Event Support Technician to assist Crypto.com Arena, the Peacock Theater, and LA Live Campus with setup, teardown, and troubleshooting of all IT and telecom equipment. The role requires hands-on installation, testing, and event-specific network tasks.

You will work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, with a payscale of $24.85–$31.67/hour. Prior CCNA and network experience is preferred; the position may be part-time with ACA benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in supporting TCP/IP data networks and network infrastructure.
• Experience supporting Microsoft XP/Vista/7, Mac OS & iOS devices.
• CCNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, tear-down, and troubleshooting of all technology needs for events (IT & Telecomm).
• Handle network equipment placement indoors/outdoors and test connectivity (wired & Wi‑Fi).
• Verify dial tone test numbers and document breakout boxes and jacks.
• Assist with troubleshooting suite scanners and field CAT5e cable creation and activation of ports.
• Maintain records of wall jacks and network switches; assist with phone adds/moves/changes.
