Job summary

AEG Worldwide is seeking an Event Support Technician to provide on-site IT and telecom support for Crypto.com Arena, Peacock Theater, and LA Live Campus. You will handle setup, teardown, and troubleshooting of venue technology, ensuring timely, accurate configurations for each event.

The role requires hands-on networking, cable fabrication, documentation, and coordination with the Network Team. Evening/weekend availability and physical mobility are essential.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years experience in TCP/IP networks and infrastructure.
2+ years in supporting Windows/Mac/iOS devices.
Strong customer service and incident reporting.
Knowledge of patch panels, fiber, switches, and wireless gear.
CCNA or similar certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up, tear down, and troubleshoot event technology and IT needs.
Test connectivity (wired and wireless) and verify network paths.
Handle event phone placement and equipment recovery after events.
Document active wall jacks and ports; coordinate with Network Team.
Assist with adds, moves, and changes to phones as needed.
Crimp custom CAT5e cables and route through venue as required.
