Job summary

Encore Global seeks a Technician to set up and operate basic AV systems in a hospitality setting, reporting to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology. You will ensure customer satisfaction by on-site support, quick troubleshooting, and accurate paperwork, including invoicing steps.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of hospitality experience and basic AV knowledge, with a willingness to obtain required training within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Must meet/training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• External applicants must meet Encore training/certification requirements.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic AV equipment for events.
• Strive to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues promptly and professionally.
• Enter orders and interact with vendors; use Navigator for entries.
