Job summary
The Cosmopolitan at MGM Resorts International is seeking an Assistant Events & Entertainment Manager to help deliver outstanding live entertainment experiences. You will support showroom operations, lead a dedicated team, manage guest services, seating, VIP arrangements and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Ideal candidates will have at least 2+ years in guest service within live entertainment, showroom operations, or hospitality.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of prior relevant experience in guest service.
- "Live entertainment, showroom operations, theater management or hospitality" experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front-of-house showroom operations, including event setup, guest admissions, seating, VIP accommodations, and venue presentation.
- Lead, coach, and support showroom team members to maintain service standards and efficiency.
- Coordinate with Entertainment, Security, Guest Services, and other departments to support performances and events.
- Address guest concerns and special accommodations with professionalism and discretion.
- Support staffing, scheduling, training and performance initiatives to maintain coverage and high performance.
- Monitor showroom conditions and assist with safety and operational improvements.
- Assist the Showroom Manager with initiatives and continuous improvement.
