Responsibilities

• Prepare drafts of, file and serve pleadings and other court documents in litigation.
• Manage pleadings and other documents filed by opposing counsel and other parties in litigation.
• Prepare drafts of and coordinate discovery requests and responses including through use of e‑discovery software.
• Gather and summarize medical, employment, and other records obtained through discovery.
• Schedule depositions, mediations, expert witness testimony, etc.
• Conduct initial client and witness interviews and prepare summaries of pertinent facts obtained.
• Keep managing attorney(s) informed of all developments and actions taken in a case.
• Manage and coordinate schedule and deadlines for all cases assigned to managing attorney.
• Maintain positive relations with clients through regular communication.
• Proofread documents and letters.
• Proofread and cite check briefs for conformance with applicable law and cite form.
