This role involves investigating complex, represented claims, primarily uninsured or underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) claims in single or multi-car accidents, and moderate to major claims. The individual may also handle complex CPL claims or specialized claims such as business interruption, loss of income, or E&O policies. Responsibilities include taking recorded statements, resolving loss of use claims, making payments, and negotiating or referring bodily injury issues that cannot be resolved.
This is a permanent remote, home-based role within the United States, excluding California, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Requirements include a dedicated workspace, minimum internet bandwidth (50 MB down/5 MB up), and appropriate work setup. Allstate provides necessary equipment and connectivity reimbursement ($80/month).
Some roles may require obtaining an adjuster or appraiser license within 60 days of hire, with support from the company.
