Job Description

This role involves investigating complex, represented claims, including uninsured or underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) claims in single or multi-car accidents, as well as moderate or major claims. The individual may handle complex CPL claims or specialized claims such as business interruption, loss of income, E&O policies, etc. Responsibilities include taking recorded statements, resolving loss of use claims, making payments, and negotiating or referring bodily injury issues that cannot be resolved.

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service Expert: Demonstrate compassion, empowerment, and restoration, communicating clearly and empathetically to support claimants.
  2. The Investigator: Independently review damage and interpret policies to determine coverage.
  3. The Effective Communicator: Use various communication channels to keep customers informed and facilitate a smooth claims process.
  4. The Negotiator: Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements in accordance with legal and business standards.
  5. The Problem Solver: Utilize tools and critical thinking skills to efficiently resolve claims.
  6. The Recorder: Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to policies to protect the company financially.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of 3rd Party Bodily Injury claims handling experience.
  • 2-5 years of GA claims experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability.
  • Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of claims evaluation tools and platforms.
Remote Work Details

This is a permanent remote, home-based role within the United States, excluding California, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Requirements include a dedicated workspace, minimum internet bandwidth, and appropriate work setup. Allstate provides necessary equipment and connectivity reimbursement.

Licensing and Benefits

Licensing may be required within 60 days of hire, with support from the company. A licensing sign-on bonus may be available. Benefits include comprehensive healthcare, retirement plans, training, and more, starting from Day 1.

Compensation

The annual salary range is $57,500.00 to $100,212.50, based on experience and qualifications.
