Job Description
This role involves investigating complex, represented claims, including uninsured or underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) claims in single or multi-car accidents, and moderate to major claims. The individual may also handle complex CPL claims or specialized claims (e.g., business interruption, loss of income, E&O policies). Responsibilities include taking recorded statements, resolving loss of use claims, making payments, and negotiating and settling or referring bodily injury issues that cannot be resolved.
This is a permanent remote, home-based role within the United States, excluding California, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Requirements include a dedicated home office, internet bandwidth of at least 50 MB down/5 MB up, and appropriate work setup.
Depending on the role, obtaining an adjuster and/or appraiser license within 60 days may be required. A $1,000 licensing sign-on bonus may be available for active licenses.
