This role involves investigating complex, represented claims, including uninsured or underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) claims in single or multi-car accidents, and handling moderate to major claims. The individual may also manage complex CPL claims or specialized claims such as business interruption, loss of income, and E&O policies. Responsibilities include taking recorded statements, resolving loss of use claims, making payments, and negotiating and settling or referring bodily injury issues that cannot be resolved.
Key Roles:
This is a permanent remote, home-based role within the United States, excluding California, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Requirements include a dedicated workspace, minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up, and appropriate work furniture.
Employment may require obtaining an adjuster or appraiser license within 60 days of hire, with support from the company. A $1,000 licensing sign-on bonus may be available for active licenses.
