Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. (QPWB), a multi-office national defense firm, seeks an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Miami, FL office. The role focuses on administrative and litigation support, including electronic filing, service, and document management.

The ideal candidate has e-filing and e-serving in Florida state and federal courts, proficiency with MS One and Litify, and strong organizational and communication skills to assist attorneys and maintain meticulous case files.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Legal Assistant or Litigation Legal Secretary in a law firm.
• Experience e-filing and e-serving in Florida state and federal courts.
• Familiarity with Florida Courts E-Filing Portal and federal CM/ECF filing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, format, e-file, and e-serve documents in Florida state and federal courts.
• Ensure timely filing and service of pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Utilize MS One and Litify to manage case documents.
• Assist attorneys with pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.
• Maintain electronic case files and calendar deadlines.
• Coordinate electronic service of documents to opposing counsel.
