Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. is seeking a detail‑driven litigation assistant to join its fast‑paced civil defense team. The ideal candidate will handle filing in state and federal courts, maintain dockets, and support attorneys with scheduling and document preparation in a flexible, remote‑friendly environment.

This role requires 3+ years of legal assistant experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and knowledge of E‑filing. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of legal assistant experience supporting litigators in civil defense
• Experience with state and federal court filing including E-Filing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Requires strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and the ability to work with minimal supervision

Responsabilités

• Filing and circulation of pleadings in state and federal court
• Maintain docketing for attorneys and assist with deadlines
• Provide administrative support: processing invoices, scheduling depositions, client communications
• Assist with opening new files and gathering required information from clients
• Coordinate travel and scheduling for attorneys
• Prepare correspondence and written documents under attorney direction
• Handle tracking and disposition of subpoenas or information requests
• Organize and maintain files; monitor issues and escalate to attorneys as needed
